SES Week

During SES Week we honour the hard work and outstanding efforts of the SES staff and volunteers across Queensland. SES Week marks an important event in the calendars of our staff and volunteers. It provides the opportunity to honour the hard work and dedication that the SES provides to the communities of Queensland.

Regional events are held around the state to celebrate SES Week awards, recognising our volunteers and units who have gone above and beyond in supporting the communities of Queensland. For more information on what is happening in your region, contact your Regional Headquarters.

National Volunteer Week

National Volunteer Week (NVW) takes place in May and is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation's volunteers.
During NVW people around Australia come together to recognise and thank the six million Australian volunteers who contribute so much to their communities. Thousands of events are held around the country. For more information visit the NVW website.

We are proud of our volunteer workforce who play a crucial role in helping SES to deliver services across Queensland communities.
