The community greatly values the dedication and commitment of our volunteers in ensuring the safety and well-being of their fellow Queenslanders.
We can receive donations into the SES Gift Fund, a public fund with deductible gift recipient status. Amounts donated over $2 are tax-deductible, where donor details are provided and the donation is identified.
Monies received through your generous donations help in the provision of:
- essential equipment that assists volunteers in performing the many and varied functions required by their communities
- professional development for volunteers through a study bursary.

These platforms accept credit card donations on behalf of the SES and provide a tax-deductible receipt for donations over $2.00.
Donations and SES support groups
SES Groups find additional resources vital to their role in community. Volunteers fundraise locally to raise much needed funds, by establishing Incorporated Associations. The primary objectives of these support groups are to raise funds for approved unfunded equipment and to support volunteer wellbeing.
Please contact Donate@ses.qld.gov.au for a list of registered Support Groups.
